In the opening round of the Barcelona Colin and Jonny had the opportunity to get revenge over Quereshi and Rojer wh0 disposed of them at Monte Carlo last week.  The Brits were sharp in the first set sneaking it 6-4, however they let the second set slip away 6-2 before playing a solid match tie break and taking it 10-6.

This set up a quarter final match up with Peya and Soares. In a nip and tuck first set it ended up going all the way to a tie break with the opponents sneaking it 7-5.  Peya and Soares proved too strong in the second set winning 6-4.

The Brits now travel to Dusseldorf for the new ATP250 event.
