Dusseldorf ATP250

The next tournament in the calendar for the Brits was the new ATP250 at Dusseldorf.  In a tricky opener they faced the home German favourites of Dustin Brown and Frank Moser.  In a tight first which went all the way to a tie break Colin and Jonny raised their game when needed winning it 7-2.  The second set proved more of a formality and the Brits took it 6-2.

In the quarter finals they faced fellow Brit Jamie Murray and Aussie John Peers.  Colin and Jonny got out blocks quickly and broke early winning the first set 7-5.  They continued their good form winning the second set 6-3.

In the semi finals the Brits faced Treat Huey and Brit Dominic Inglot.  After splitting the opening two sets, Colin and Jonny failed to produce their best form in the match tie break going down 10-5.

Colin and Jonny will now travel to Paris for the French Open
