Good luck?
I’m sure you don’t really need it…

Even so, I only had you in my thoughts as I prised
that horseshoe from Rosie the old grey mare.
As I cycled to the field I’d saluted three magpies,
got pooed on by a pigeon,
fallen off my bike swerving to avoid a black cat
and landed face first in a warm cow pat.
The four leaf clover lodged in Rosie’s hoof
was surely a sign, but it was only when a sack
of salt fell off an overtaking lorry and
flew over my left shoulder that I finally
realised Lady Luck was smiling…

Good Luck in your doubles match tonight although I’m sure you won’t need it

OMG - how impressive was that - beat some really classy players on the way too! I think that decision to make a comeback was a good one - and to find a great doubles partner and form a pair that look like you’ve still got a way to go to hit your peak - how great is that for British tennis right now.

Congratulations to you and Ken on winning the Moselle Open Doubles Final. What a fantastic achievement ! I enjoyed watching all your matches in the tournament, especially the final, despite being one of only 2 British spectators in the arena. You did well to beat both the French opponents and the crowd and all that without a British flag on display !

I’m a great tennis fan and was also at the Davis Cup in Liverpool for 3 days.

I’ll be following your progress closely in the future and wish you every success.

Well done again.

Colin,

Well done on your victory. Keep up the good form. Hope to see you all back in County Down soon - maybe a game of golf? Martha and Alex would be so proud.

Best wishes,
May, Oliver, Davina and Jamie.
