Colin and Ross played the Malaysian Open for the first time together, and enjoyed taking in some of the sights of the city before they were in first round action on Wednesday.

They faced a tricky first round match against  Rosol and Bogomolov.  Colin and Ross produced a fine display and beat the pair comfortably 6-2 6-3.  The pair returned well giving themselves 12 break point opportunities during the match.

In the quarter finals they came up against the US Open champions Melzer and Petzschner.  Melzer and Petzschner were in excellent form and overcame the British pair 6-3 6-3.

Colin will now return home to train for 2 weeks before heading to Russia for 2 weeks of tournament.
