Colin and Ross in Semi Final Action

Colin and Ross played their final tournament before Wimbledon at Eastbourne, and faced a tough opener against Aspelin and Hanley.  After taking the first set on a tie break the match was stopped due to bad light, and finished the following day.  Colin and Ross then lost the second set the following day, but managed to claw it back in the Champs tiebreak and take it 12-10.

This set up a quarter final encounter with Knowle and Sa who overcame 4th seed Gonzalez and Lipsky.  Colin and Ross got off to a slow start and were 6-4 5-4 40-15 down facing 3 match points, before staging a remarkable comeback.  They took the 2nd set and then won the champs breaker 12-10 again.  Setting up a semi final clash later that day against Dmitrov and Seppi.  This proved a step too far on the day and they went down 7-6 7-5 in another close match.

They pick up 90 world ranking points, and now move onto the 3rd Grand Slam of the year at Wimbledon.
